Returns, Privacy and Delivery.

If you are not happy with your recent purchase, please return the product in question to us at St Andrews Kilts 228/232 High St, Kirkcaldy, Fife, KY1 1JT.  We will exchange or refund to the credit or debit card of the person who originally placed and paid for the order. Detailed below relate to product exclusions:-

“Distance Selling Regulations” – if you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days of receipt. This includes any standard delivery charge*, but excludes the products listed as exceptions below. StAndrewskilts.com will extend this period to 30 days from receipt of your order but excludes the products listed in exceptions below.

*exceptions may apply to orders containing additional items to the item(s) returned.  International delivery charges are non refundable unless the item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.  Additional postage charges such as guaranteed next day are non refundable.

If you are dissatisfied with your recent purchase, please inform us within 30 days of purchase, unless faulty.

If you are returning your item and you would like a refund but don’t have your receipt, order confirmation or delivery note, we will offer you gift vouchers to the value of the current selling price. Ordinarily if you have your receipt or delivery note we’ll refund the original debit, credit or charge card used to purchase

  • It’s important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, are returned in re-saleable condition. Without exception expect this to mean that you’ve kept all original packaging and labels, and that it’s undamaged and unused & all returned to us. 
  • Only In the event of an item being unsuitable for its purpose, or being of a lesser quality than that which is advertised, StAndrewskilts.com will be liable for any postage charges incurred.  Otherwise, you are liable for all postage charges.

Products we are unable to cancel, refund or exchange

We cannot offer refunds/exchanges, unless faulty or not as described and stated on the website, on the following items:

  • Products that have been personalised for you, such as stationery or gifts
  • Made to order/bespoke products such as kilts, jackets or other made to measure/order items
  • Where a product has been specially ordered for you, unless faulty, we are unable to refund or offer an exchange. We are unable to accept cancellations for these orders, unless within 48 hours of the order being placed.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please ensure you take the goods to the post office & collect a receipt as proof of delivery.

We will credit your account when we receive the goods in a satisfactory condition as detailed above.

Terms & Conditions



Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on our website for a full refund. This does not apply to personalised or bespoke items made to your specification.  Items such as made to measure kilts and jackets that, by reason of their sizing and specifications, cannot be returned. Any item worn my also not be permitted for return and as deemed fit for purpose and reason for purchase. 

To cancel, you can email us or write to us (see ‘contact us’ for details) by the end of the seventh working day after the day on which you receive your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them. Item(s) may be returned to St Andrews Kilts, Kirkcaldy.  Only in the event of an item being unsuitable for its purpose, or being of a lesser quality than that which is advertised, StAndrewskilts.com will be liable for any postage charges incurred.  Otherwise, you are liable for all postage charges.

UK delivery charges

Delivery charges for the UK?


Orders either despatched via standard second-class post, recorded or by courier tracked & signed for. We will advise the service we used & forward a tracking number if required. You can track those parcels at the courier web site. If there is nobody at the delivery address to accept your goods a notification card may be left to inform you how you can collect the parcel. *A surcharge may apply for large/high value purchases.
